The Cell 20 Test Transmitter is a portable unit that combines a signal generator and 20 Watt power amplifier which operates in the worldwide cellular frequency bands. The Cell 20 is user friendly and is capable of generating a CW test signal over the frequency range of 805-960 MHz. The RF output power is variable from .100 to 20 Watts (+20 to +43 dBm) in 1 dB increments. The Cell 20 is an essential tool for the cellular network design engineer. It can be used to test signal propagation from candidate base station locations and can be used to validate and refine analytical propagation models.
