PAMS-C is a simple and efficient solution for quickly identifying shielding faults in an RF shielded enclosure. Cousin to the original PAMS used extensively by customers operating RF Shielded Enclosures, PAMS-C gives commercial end-users everything needed to measure shielding effectiveness levels of critical infrastructure - all with minimal or no interruption to normal operations. Lightweight and compact, each unit measures approximately 12" x 5" x 5" and
weighs 5.5 lbs., making PAMS-C ideally suited to field measurement tasks.
Rugged construction insures instrument survivability in a field test environment.
PAMS-C incorporates a self-calibrating microprocessor-based architecture that
provides for ease of use. It requires only minimal operator instruction
for
error-free
operation. Its backlit LCD output displays shielding effectiveness, battery
status, and other operating parameters.

EMI Technologies created a video which shows how they use PAMS-C to measure shielding effectiveness. The video also demonstrates the shielding properties of different types of waveguide as well as common mistakes which will degrade shielding effectiveness.
EMI Technologies was founded in 1985 as a mechanical and electrical engineering, consulting, and fabrication services company, EMI has completed over 300 custom built vehicles. The technical staff has over 100 years combined experience in engineering design and fabrication of electronic instrumentation vans, shelters, trailers and other transportable systems.
